Nordic Ski Poles

The Swix OPAL with the 5000 series tapered aluminum shaft will take a 'licken'. It may bend and get ugly but is very unlikely to break. We think a broken pole is even more ugly than a bent pole. The Opal is a great upgrade pole from any basic pole like the Swix Nordic Al. Upgrades include: A tapered aluminum shaft keeps the center of gravity higher up for a lighter and more efficient swing weight. The wider Biathlon Loop Strap is more comfortable. The Dual Density Grip is warmer and more comfortable than a hard plastic grip. This Opal Pole comes with the fixed TR93S basket which is designed primarily for a groomed trail. This pole is the same pole as the Swix Classic Pole with the TR93S Track Basket. The Opal pole is a special purchase so you save some money. It has nice robin's egg blue graphics.
