The fabulous Superlight just got better with a weight reducing volcanic basalt fiber top sheet. Fischer has never cut any corners in producing the Waxless Superlight Crown, and for this reason it is one of the more expensive skis in this category. In this case you get what you pay for, maybe more. It has the best base and base finish possible (same as the race proven RCS skis), and the air core construction (no foam core here) keeps the ski light and nimble. It has always been one of the best, if not the best, full-length high performance light touring skis available. If you don't think of yourself as a racer but still want a very fast ski, the Superlight is a Super choice. Designed primarily for the groomed track, a good skier can boldly take it off track as well. The WAXLESS Superlight Crowns are very versatile skis. With Fischer's ShortCut technology, the wax pocket pops off the snow quicker for less drag and better glide. The Superlight is light, stable and fast! The Waxless Superlight Crown, when flexed properly for your weight and skiing ability will ski circles around other waxless skis. Every pair Superlights has been flex tested so you will get a proper fitting ski. Don't buy this ski using Fischer's generic weight chart if you want a ski that is right for you.
